We have been enjoying exploring our Queensland Museum loans this term. The artefacts we unpack provide wonderful provocations for questions, conversations, and discovery.
As a community kindy, we are so grateful for the way in which Kindy families volunteer their time and make it possible for us to collect new loans each fortnight. Thank you!

We're becoming well versed in rainy days at Kindy lately! And what better way to spend a rainy day than playing in the gloriously gooey mud! At Ballymore, we value our time outdoors, and there is very little that keeps us from venturing out. Rainy days simply offer new opportunities for exploration and discovery.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Open Day on Saturday. We loved meeting so many new families and welcoming back familiar faces. It was wonderful to see our space filled with connection, curiosity, and play!
There were many little traces of play left for us to discover afterwards.........such lovely reminders of time well spent.

What to do with an abundance of basil? Share it, of course!
The children have been harvesting the basil they grew to share with our Kindy families, complete with their own suggestions for how it can be best enjoyed. A beautiful example of generosity and community.

We are incredibly grateful to our parent community who joined us at the working bee to prepare the Kindy environment for Term 2.
The children have noticed the care shown by their families and have proudly continued this responsibility by caring for our gardens throughout the week.
