Come along to the last maths talks of the semester! This week, we have Gabe Field talking about "The Quantum Fourier Transform", and Rhea Wolski presenting their piece: "Maths as Art".
These talks are on Friday the 22nd of May, at 4pm in room 67 - 442 as usual. Not as usual however, the pizza will be at RedRoom instead of the normal courtyard area. This is, of course, because these talks directly precede this semesters Wine and Reddo! (Tickets still avaliable, and only $5)
Distinguished UQMSS members should note that since RedRoom is an 18+ establishment, they will need a government issued ID to enter (and hence to acquire pizza). However, members will not need a Wine and Reddo ticket to come to RedRoom and have the pizza, but will need a ticket to be able to use the bar tab.

Come down to Red Room with us to unwind before the semester ends! Right after the week 12 maths talks finish (5pm 22nd May), we will walk to the Red Room for our semesterly wine and reddo. There will be complementary food, drink, and thought provoking conversation (hopefully!).
Please note that since alcohol will be provided this event is 18+. Members will also need valid photo ID to enter into the Red Room.
Get your tickets at the link below:
