⚡FLASHBACK FRIDAY ⚡| This week’s Flashback Friday is to 1976 and the Inter-school Athletics Carnival. The afternoon was packed with excitement - sprints, broad jumps, high jumps, relays and ball games gave the students the opportunity to show their school spirit as well as their sporting prowess. Taking home the Champion Shield was the Blue Team – beaming with pride in this photo.

AUSTRALIAN DOLPHINS SWIM TEAM SELECTION | What an incredible achievement for MSM! We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate alumni Meg Harris (Class of 2019) and Hannah Casey (Class of 2023), who have both been selected in the Australian Dolphins Swim Team for the Commonwealth and Pan Pacific Games following their outstanding performances at the 2026 Australian Swimming Trials in Sydney. A huge congratulations to Hannah on her Dolphins debut, and to Meg on an exceptional campaign that saw her claim GOLD in the 50m Freestyle final and SILVER in the 100m Freestyle final. Both athletes are set to shine in the Green and Gold, and the entire MSM community could not be prouder of all they have achieved. We’ll be cheering them on every step of the way as they continue to make waves in Australian swimming. Go Meg and Hannah!

Join us for the 2026 Career Conversations with MSM Alumni – an inspiring event where students can connect with experienced Alumni, gain valuable insights and explore future pathways. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn from those who have walked before you.

The College is seeking a qualified nurse and/or paramedic to present to our Year 10 students at their Careers Day next Wednesday, 17 June. Due to a cancellation from one of our Alumni, we need to fill a last-minute spot during our 9am – 10:30am session. The commitment involves a 15-minute presentation followed by 5 minutes for questions providing insight into your career pathway and current work experience. ⚡FLASHBACK FRIDAY ⚡|This week’s Flashback Friday is to 1966, when the Past Pupils Association hosted the Debutante Ball. The debutante gowns, a graceful fusion of timeless tradition and emerging fashion trends, brought a delicate softness that perfectly complimented the elegance of the occasion.

⚡FLASHBACK FRIDAY ⚡| Today’s Flashback Friday reflects on 1 June 1985 and our Diamond Jubilee celebration. Sixty years earlier, in faith and love, the Sisters of Charity began their ministry of education in the Ashgrove area. This photograph captures several familiar faces, including Sr Jeannie Johnston, Sr Clare Nolan and Sr Maureen Parker. The MSM community greatly values the ongoing connection we share with the Sisters and cherishes the time they continue to spend visiting the College. We hold them close to our hearts.
