​Our Year 2 RI class at Kuraby State School diving into the gems of Surah Al-Baqarah, reflecting on the importance of obedience and putting their faith into practice, Alhamdulillah! 📖🤲

​Teaching Islamic RI goes far beyond passing on knowledge—it nurtures holistic growth, builds a strong identity, and gives our kids a deep sense of belonging when they can learn about and practice their faith right in mainstream schooling. 💛

🌟 Beautiful Connections at Warrigala 2026! 🌟

​What an incredible day we had on Saturday, 18th July, at the Warrigal Road State School Warrigala festival! The energy was amazing, the sun was shining, and our hearts are full from meeting so many wonderful parents, children, and local community members.

​Our stall was buzzing all day as we showcased the beautiful exhibition, "Islam's Contribution to the World". From groundbreaking historical advancements in schools, hospitals, and astronomy to interactive kids' crafts and activities, it was a joy to share this rich heritage with everyone. We also loved having the opportunity to chat with parents and build more awareness about the Religious Instruction (RI) programs available in Queensland public schools—helping families stay informed and connected.

You can support us by:
​💡 Designing: Help us plan an eye-catching stall.
​⏰ Giving Time: Volunteer for just 1 hour or longer on the day
​🍪 Donating: Contribute funds for the exhibits or selling cultural sweets (all proceeds go to the school).

We are overjoyed to share a historic milestone for our community. After months of dedicated negotiations and relationship building, Islamic RI classes officially commenced today at Kuraby State School! 🕌📖

This is a groundbreaking moment, as it marks the first time Islamic RI has been the lead RI program in any Queensland school, with over 150 Muslim students attending.

A project of this scale required immense effort in recruiting and organizing a dedicated team of volunteers. We are deeply grateful for your continued du'as and support, which allow this vital mission to continue and grow.

May Allah SWT reward everyone involved and make this a path to knowledge and success for our children. 🤲✨
