🌊☀️ Beach Kindy Adventures! ☀️🌊

"Welcome to Beach Kindy! We're from Prince Charles & we are Chermside. We have been swimming and playing. We love building sandpits".

Today we embarked on our second Beach Kindy session with the children and educators from Chermside Early Education Centre & Pre-school. The children were blessed with a perfect Winter day, which enabled them to run, jump, play and explore the beach. They loved collecting shells, finding snail eggs, inspecting seaweed and searching for crabs.

How lucky are we to be able to share this experience with one another, while forming new friendships, connections and memories along the way! 🏖️🐚🦀

🌿🍂 The Toddler 2 children enjoyed a fun adventure to the middle garden, where they freely explored the various natural elements around them. As they investigated the environment, the children discovered rocks, leaves, nuts, seeds, and fallen branches, using their senses to learn about the world around them. 🌱🪵✨

🎨🫧 Our Toddler 1 children enjoyed a fun sensory experience using shaving foam and food colouring. The children loved exploring the different textures and mixing the colours with their hands, creating patterns and mixing colours as they played. Sensory experiences like this help support creativity, fine motor development, and language skills while encouraging curiosity and exploration. 🌈✨👐

💮 Miss Jigna
Miss Jigna has been living in Australia for 14 years and loves spending quality time with her family. She enjoys listening to Bollywood music from the 70s and 80s and occasionally loves to have a dance. When she was younger, Miss Jigna was quite shy and preferred to keep to herself, which helps her understand and support children as they build confidence and friendships.

🌞 Miss Cheryl
Miss Cheryl loves spending time with the children, not only in the Toddler 2 room but throughout the service. Her favourite activities are singing and dancing with the children and creating joyful learning experiences together. Miss Cheryl also loves being outdoors, whether it's enjoying the warm sunshine or spending time in the water.

📸 Miss Fale
Miss Fale enjoys spending her free time cooking, watching movies, shopping, and attending church. She also loves taking photos of new places she visits during her travels. Miss Fale grew up in New Zealand and enjoys sharing her experiences and interests with the children and families in our community.

What makes our Senior Kindy children happy? 🌿😊

Our Nature Play Program! The children had lots of fun running, jumping, climbing the hills, and sliding back down with their friends. The children also learned about nature with Miss Jen and participated in exciting running activities with Mr Tyson. 🌳🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🍃
