It was lovely to see the children carefully shaping, moulding and adding their own special touches to their creations. Each Gruffalo was unique and full of personality! 💚

🔬🧪 Little Scientists in the Nursery! 🧪🔬

Today our Nursery children became little scientists as they explored an exciting oil and water experiment! 💧✨

The children were encouraged to observe, touch and explore as they watched what happened when oil and water were combined. Through this sensory experience, our babies had opportunities to notice movement, colours and changes while developing their natural curiosity about the world around them. 👀👐

A big thank you to our wonderful guests for joining us at our Kindergarten Information Evening last night! 💛

It was a fantastic opportunity for families to learn more about transitions to school, kindy readiness and school readiness, and to gain valuable insights and practical information to support children as they take this exciting next step in their learning journey. 🎓🌱

We truly appreciate your time, knowledge and support in helping our families feel informed and confident as they prepare for school.

Today our Junior Kindy room had lots of fun exploring colour mixing! 🎨🌈

The children experimented with different colours, watching with excitement as they mixed them together to create new and beautiful colours. This hands-on experience encouraged curiosity, creativity, and sensory exploration while developing early learning skills.

💜 Occupational Therapist from Cooee Speech Pathology – discussing how occupational therapy can support fine motor development, sensory needs and everyday independence.

🗣️ Speech Therapist from Cooee Speech Pathology – sharing information about supporting children’s communication, language development and confidence as they prepare for school.

Families will also have the opportunity to meet our Kindergarten educators, learn more about our Queensland Kindergarten Program, explore our learning environment and ask questions about school readiness, routines, enrolment and the transition to Prep.

🌿 Bush Kindy Adventures! 🏏🎨

Last Friday at Bush Kindy, the children enjoyed a wonderful day of outdoor play, creativity and connection with nature. 🌳

We had lots of fun playing cricket, developing our teamwork and coordination, before slowing down to get creative with nature-inspired drawings. 🎨🍃

It was a beautiful way to learn, play and explore in the great outdoors! 💚
