🎶🎶 We return Monday 20th April. Last term we welcomed 9 new members 😁 Yah! Come along anytime 1st night Free 🎶🎶

So, last Monday was our last sing for Term one. But prior to this we had some lovely events. Some choir members enjoyed a great singing afternoon with Nicole Murray a very talented choir leader and musician, followed by a night with Imogen Wolf We were joined by members from other choirs, friends and family members totalling a harmonious 37 voices, singing three songs a fantastic night all round. 🎶🎶

What a great night last night. Fields of Gold is coming along so nicely that Sting himself would be so impressed!! So many lovely harmonies 🎶🎶 We welcomed more new faces which has been a real treat. A sing a cuppa and chat what more could you ask for on a Monday night

Even though I personally was not there last Monday from all reports it was a great night filled with singing and reconnecting after our break. We had a few new faces, whom I look forward to meeting this coming Monday. So for anyone still thinking about coming along, just because it's week two doesn't mean you can't come along. We welcome new members all year round. Remember first night is free. Let's keep singing 🎶🎶

We have had an amazing first term. Our new choir leader Anne Warren is a true gem and we are looking forward to doing it all again next Term. On our last night we had a special guest conductor, Imogen Wolf who hails from Lismore. Imogen is an amazingly fantaboulous leader in song, with 25 plus years experience. Imogen had us singing up a storm with War, War no More and an Irish Heartbeat. Interesting vocal warm ups to Knees up Mother Brown. Such a great night. We were joined by some of our singer friends from Peace and Choir and others. It was a fantastic night full of harmony and joy. Thanks to the amazing 32 singers we had and the willingness to sing out loud, and as Imogen says... "Sing it like ya know it"

What a great night tonight, not only did we sing up a storm, with Billy Joel's number, For the longest time, as well as other songs, we celebrated January and February birthdays. 🍰🎉 Happy Birthday to all our members who had their special day in the past few weeks. 😁🍾🤸‍♂️

Tonight we started a new chapter by welcoming Anne Warren as our new Choir Director. Anne had the room buzzing and we sung our hearts out. Looking forward to the rest of the term, more new songs and all the singing. Remember we welcome new members at anytime and the first night is free. So come along, have a sing and a cuppa.

Well that's it for Term One 2024. What a great time we had with old and new members. Last night we revisited our old venue at Bardon Hall which has loverly booming acoustics. Term Two starts on 15 April back at the Newmarket Hall. Have a great Easter break and get the vocal chords prepped for round two.

Once again the lovely Ann Bermingham led us in song tonight. We continued with Stand by me and Crossing the bar. Harmonies were well and truly afoot tonight. Greta will be back next week to see or rather hear how we have come along. Once again many thanks to Ann for stepping up for us these past two weeks. 🎶🎶
