Our Year 11 IB students participated in an Extended Essay Launch Day including a range of workshops and activities introducing them to Extended Essay expectations and to help them begin the research process. The Extended Essay is an important opportunity for students to develop independent research, academic writing and critical thinking skills that will support both their IB studies and future tertiary education. πππ

A huge shoutout to John Mullins, Year 9, who recently competed in the Rocky Trail Academy 2026 MTB Racing at Sugarbag Mountain Bike Tracks (Caloundra). Students from over 60 Queensland high schools participated in the "Schools Academy" mountain bike competition. John had lots of fun on the trails and finished in the top third of his age group (Intermediate, Year 9-10) in this fun but challenging mountain bike event. Top effort, John! π€©π΅π
