🦁💜 A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR FRIENDS AT Bracken Ridge Lions Club! 💜🦁

We want to give a very special shout-out to the wonderful team at Bracken Ridge Lions Club, who have gone above and beyond to help us bring our 160th Festival together.

On Saturday, members of the Lions will be giving up their time to volunteer and help our team in the Jacaranda Café. ☕️🌳

Community events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without local groups who are willing to roll up their sleeves and lend a hand wherever it’s needed.

Thank you, Bracken Ridge Lions, for being such wonderful supporters of Bald Hills State School. We are so grateful to have you as part of our festival and our wider community. 💚💛

Please give them a big thank you when you see them at the Jacaranda Café on Saturday! 🦁☕️

This Thursday, 8 October, is World Sight Day, and we're jumping on the bandwagon to remind you to . When was the last time you gave your peepers a check-up? If it's been more than a year, consider this your friendly nudge to call your local optometrist and book an eye test this week!
Drop a 👓 in the comments if you've already had your eyes checked this year! #

This Backyard Bonanza sponsor shoutout goes to a business that has contributed to our community! 🌭💛

We caught up with Sam from Deagon Bulk Meats who generously donated 60kg of sausages for Backyard Bonanza. It also meant The Common Good Au could raise funds for The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation on the day.

Deagon Bulk Meats donates sausages for our monthly Lions Train Day, held on the fourth Sunday of every month, helping the Bracken Ridge Lions Club raise money for various community causes.

Thank you Deagon Bulk Meats for your incredible generosity and for the meaningful difference you make in our community. 🙏💛
