Backyard Bonanza is THIS Sunday at McPherson Park from 9am to 2pm and it is shaping up to be an incredible day! 🎉
A huge shoutout to the Bracken Ridge Lions Club who have absolutely outdone themselves organising this year's event. The effort and dedication that goes into making Backyard Bonanza (BYB) happen every year is extraordinary, and our community is so lucky to have them.
Backyard Bonanza is proudly and primarily funded by Brisbane City Council with generous support from local businesses whose sponsorship helps make the event even bigger and better each year.
Thanks to that incredible support, all rides are completely FREE this year, including the ever popular Lions Miniature Train! There is also food trucks, live performances, market stalls, activities and so much more.
And this year we have something special for the kids. Grab a bingo card and get it stamped at different stalls around the event. Return your completed card to our ward stall to go in the draw to win a scooter! 🛴

Bracken Ridge Lion's Train Day
Trains run on the 4th Sunday of each month in McPherson Park, Bracken Ridge from 9.00am until 1.00pm.
Each train ride costs $2 per person (2years old and over) or $15 for a 10 ride pass that never expires. The Bracken Ridge Central Steam/Electric Railway is proudly run and operated by the Bracken Ridge Central Lions Club, with all proceeds going back to the community. On Sunday HSH RC Tank and RC Truck dropped off this amazing donation to our club of (a chafer pan with 12 fuel cans) to help with our monthly community BBQ on our monthly train days. We are forever grateful to our friends at HSH RC Tank and RC Truck community group for your amazing donation this well help all the future community groups raise much needed for their community groups, thanks again.
