🌿 Reconciliation Week Wrap-Up – Toddler 1 🌿
This week in our Toddler 1 room, we proudly celebrated Reconciliation Week through meaningful and engaging experiences with our children.
During our daily circle time, the children participated in a Welcome to Country, where we acknowledged the Traditional Custodians of the land and showed our respect to Elders past and present. It was beautiful to see the children listening, engaging, and beginning to understand the importance of connection to Country.
Through songs, conversations, and simple discussions, we explored themes of respect, inclusion, and belonging. The children showed curiosity and care as they joined in these moments together, building early awareness in a warm and supportive environment.
We are so proud of our Toddler 1 group for embracing these experiences with such openness and enthusiasm. Reconciliation is a journey, and it’s never too early to start learning the values of respect, understanding, and unity. ❤️💛🖤

Staying up to date with First Aid and CPR is very important and mandatory for all staff at our Centre, Mr Asrap our Diploma qualified Educator and Centre Cook spent the weekend staying up to date at a Goodstart Early Learning group session with our sister Centres 🤕😀

Our Nursery Educators and Children have been nurturing our little Mandarin tree for some time now. The one Mandarin that the children have been watching grow is now ready for picking. Miss Pom our beautiful Educator who loves the garden helped the children pick the Mandarin and had the Nursery children do some sensory education with smelling the peel, feeling the soft flesh of the Mandarin and then tasting a segment. We can say that it smelt amazing and the children loved the taste 🍊🧡
