The best way to start our week...exploring our new playground!

There was plenty of running, jumping, climbing and balancing, and it has been amazing to see the children already making this space their own.

So many adventures to come ⭐️

International Day of Play, a day where we celebrate the power of play. In a world that can sometimes feel rushed or structured, play gives children the freedom to be curious without limits, and creative without pressure.

It's worth pausing to appreciate the value of play in every child's life, and to support the spaces, time, and opportunities that allow it to flourish.

After all, play is learning, in its most natural form.

The rain didn’t dampen our spirits today!

Miss Kym and her guitar were certainly a highlight for our Studio 2 children. It was beautiful to see the children come together and learn through music ✨

The Kuyur and Dumbribbi children have been busy little gardeners of late, showing such care and responsibility for their natural play space.

We’ve loved observing their natural curiosity, and how committed they are to watering their herbs every day! 🌱

Teddy Bears Picnic 🧸

Our Dibbil children had a beautiful morning at the park with their favourite teddy bears! We enjoyed morning tea, shared a story under the shade of the trees, and had lots of fun exploring the playground.

These simple moments may seem small, but they play such an important role in creating joy, friendships and special memories!

Today, our children participated in a vision screening program, providing an important opportunity to support their health and learning. We know that early detection of vision problems is vital, and through interactive activities, we are proud to offer these screenings for our children.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Lions Club for facilitating the screenings and for the ongoing commitment to the wellbeing of young people in our community.

Did you know that Australia has some of the highest childhood allergy rates in the world? That's why food safety is everything to us.

For families navigating allergies, we know trust matters. Our allergy management processes and educator training and thorough and extensive. With Nurse Katie available to provide advice, every child's individual needs are supported with care and expertise.

We also believe that children play an important role in creating safe environments. Through our Healthy Habits Program, children learn about food safety, awareness and caring for one another, helping build lifelong habits from an early age.

Our playground refurbishment has officially begun!

Today the children had a very special visit from Edy, who spoke about staying safe while the big machines get to work. There were lots of curious questions (especially about the machinery) and plenty of excitement as they learned how everything works.

We can already feel the excitement building as we look ahead to an exciting week of changes, and a brand-new playground to explore.

We can’t wait to see it all come to life!
