Congratulations to Jaylee who has just completed her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care!
Jaylee you are such a natural with children. You bring such warmth, calm and affection in your approach, we are so lucky to have you in our team. You have chipped away, bit by bit, and now your hard work has paid off. We are SO happy for you!

Heartfelt thanks to our amazing educator Alesha, who celebrated one year of service at our Centre this week. Alesha is all heart - her sensitive observations and close connections with the children bring a huge sense of security and belonging. Thank you so much Alesha!

Loose parts play, the gross motor edition!
These tyres are earning their miles in a whole new way, with a new lease on life building cubbies, obstacle courses and helping these toddlers test their balance. These children spent about an hour this morning with our amazing Educational Leader Andrea who encouraged them to climb, roll, push, weight balance, supporting children’s vestibular development (the rolling and moving with the tyre supports balance and spatial orientation!)

Mud kitchen play!
We recently commissioned our local Men’s Shed in Stafford, to make our centre a mud kitchen! It was a wonderful collaboration with a worthwhile local organisation which supports men's mental health. The children have gravitated to it for countless hours of outdoor imaginative play, and gave them many opportunities for sensory experiences and they worked cooperatively with each other. It certainly expanded their creativity.

Meet Amber, one of our Centre Chickens.
Poor Amber injured her beak this morning so we whisked her off to the vet who have taken beautiful care of her, and released her back to us with instructions on how to help her heal. A very big thanks to Dallas and Cheryl at EvertonParkVeterinarySurgery for your kindness and generosity of heart and time this morning!
Our chickens are a big part of our Centre heart and community. The children showed great interest and concern for Amber, and how we’ll make sure we keep her safe while she heals!

Our leadership team recently attended the Australian Childcare Alliance National Conference in Brisbane! Such an inspiring weekend of new ideas, critical thinking and deep reflection.
We had the opportunity to be inspired and challenged with some incredible thought-provoking discussions. Highlights included trauma-informed practice, the power of slow pedagogy, and conversations about bringing joy, wonder, and connection back into early childhood.
We’re feeling charged to embed some of the ideas we’ve come away with!
