🌱🍃The EcoMarines participated in our fourth year of Plant Out as part our EcoMarine goal of building biodiversity in our school. They planted a selection of native flowering and fruiting plants in two of our school gardens. After trying some native rosella jam, they learnt about the many uses of native plants, including how string can be made from lomandra grass. Our EcoMarines are definitely becoming ‘Change-Makers’ for a better future! 🌱🍃

We would like to provide you with an update regarding a lockdown that occurred at our school today.

The school followed our established lockdown procedures to ensure the safety of all students and staff. As the incident occurred during break time, there was a short delay in completing the lockdown while staff accounted for students and followed the appropriate processes.

The situation has been resolved. The safety and wellbeing of our students and staff remains our highest priority.

We understand that an incident such as this may cause concern and we appreciate your understanding while we followed the necessary procedures and worked with police.

Thank-you for your continued support.

Today Miss Withers and Mr Fuimaono took 24 grade 6 girls to Metropolitan East Regional Netball Shield. Huge congratulations goes to both teams for the consistent effort and incredible sportsmanship displayed.
Our B team (blue bibs) did an amazing job winning their first game and worked really hard for their other 3 but unfortunately lost overall.
Our A team (black bibs) pushed through an impeccable 8 games and fought to the very end and came out with 3rd place overall out of 41 teams!

All students did an amazing job and we couldn't be more proud of their efforts! Thank you to all parents who made their way out to support cheering and helping to score.
Well done Crestmead!
