Mark Stone is currently in Williamsport, PA as part of his assignment to the 2026 Little League World Series. In addition to his umpiring across all age groups and divisions, Stoney is an integral part of the QBUA, Redlands Rays Baseball Club and Brisbane South Baseball Association community as a volunteer.

🌟2026 BRISBANE ASSOCIATION SEMINAR🌟

The annual Brisbane Association Seminar will be hosted by All Stars Baseball Club Inc. on Saturday the 19th of September to Sunday the 20th of September.

This is the only planned Association Umpire Accreditation seminar in Brisbane for the Greater Brisbane League Baseball 26/27 season, so mark your calendars. Both days start at 8:30am, with lunch provided on the Saturday.

Barrier Reef Tournament Day 2 underway. Baseball Queensland Baseball Cairns

With the Little League Girls and Invitational kicking off today in Redcliffe, we have a mother-son and father-daughter duo in attendance in Cassandra Hall/Tyler Lowe and Michael Florence/Ciara Florence.

Along with Irma Cortez, Zoe Leeming and Tiffany Robertson, they make up a strong local contingent being overseen by Queensland’s Barry Foat & Marc Roberts.

Congratulations to all our Queensland umpires in this tournament, Cam Montague, Alisha Jewry, Kevin Ryan, Carla Pinder and Cassandra Hall.

Well done to our four Queensland umpires who travelled to Melbourne to umpire in the Women and Youth Women’s Nationals last month. Carla Pinder, Liliana Ostara, Alisha Jewry, and Cassandra Hall all returned to the tournament and performed to a level to make our state proud.

Particular congratulations to Alisha & Liliana who had their performances recognised by working their respective divisions gold medal games.
