Hosted by Get Real International as part of our grant program, get ready for an afternoon of glam, self-care, confidence building, and fun with people who just get it

🧠 Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) – FREE for Carers Free Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training sessions available for carers.

These are a great option to share with carers who want to build confidence supporting someone experiencing mental health challenges. Join us for your Free Blended Mental Health First Aid Accreditation Training. 5-6 hours of online self-paced modules, followed by a 6-8 hour IN-PERSON training session in the Gold Coast. This BLENDED IN-PERSON EVENT is designed to equip our carers and parents with the necessary skills to provide support to both adults and young people experiencing mental health challenges. The training will cover topics such as identifying warning signs, providing initial help, and guiding people to appropriate resources. This will begin with 5 - 6 hours of Self-paced learning online modules to be completed prior to the IN-PERSON session.

(These trainings are made free for those providing care to at least one person in an unpaid capacity who has a: disability, chronic medical condition, mental health condition, addiction, aged or frail)

This online training is designed to equip carers and parents with the necessary skills to provide support to both adults and young people experiencing mental health challenges. It will cover topics such as identifying warning signs, providing initial help, and guiding people to appropriate resources.

If you'd like to learn some fun accessible ways to move and feel empowered, while also hanging out with some other folks like you, JOIN US!

We're working with Champion Health in Springwood to create a movement workshop that takes into account your accessibility needs, and helps you to explore fun ways to exercise, relax, and build confidence!

We'll be running two workshops on Saturday May 2nd:
- One between 10:00am & 11:30am for ages 12-18
- Another between 12:00pm & 2:00pm event for people aged 18+
