Welcome to Habitat Early Learning Ferny Grove Fittingly, Habitat Early Learning grew from one family’s dream. Habitat Early Learning Nundah opened in 2020.
In 2006, with the care and education of their own young children in mind, a local Queensland family had the idea of developing an early childhood education centre that offered an unparalleled experience. Their vision was realised in 2009 when Habitat Early Learning Ferny Grove, nestled against the tranquil backdrop of Cedar Creek, opened its doors. A decade later, the search for a second location
— possessing the beauty of the Ferny Grove setting — began. A stunning Nundah homestead with a heart-warming history soon caught their attention. In 2022, the stunning coastal backdrop of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast has become home to the third service: Habitat Early Learning Peregian Springs. Taking cues from the contemporary landscape, the multi-storey, architecturally designed service will be Habitat’s first Montessori-exclusive learning centre. Happy staff, happy children, happy families

We were delighted to welcome the Prep children from Ferny Grove State School for a special visit, and it was extra special seeing familiar faces from our 2025 cohort!
The purpose of the visit was all about sharing play-based learning in action. The children dived into hands-on exploration, collaborating, creating, problem-solving, and of course—learning through play in the most natural and engaging way.
Thank you Ferny Grove State School for a beautiful morning 🫶

Ready, set...READ! 📚
We had so much fun celebrating National Simultaneous Storytime with Luna Roo. Children and staff came dressed in their favourite sports gear, with plenty of State of Origin colours bringing extra team spirit to the day. A winning combination of books and sports!

Our Kindy children had a very special visit last week from Edy, our Building Supervisor, who came along to lead a hands-on safety induction session in preparation for the upcoming Manual Arts Program.
From the moment he walked in, the children were curious and engaged, eager to hear from someone who helps keep our environments safe every day. Edy spoke with the children about important safety habits such as how to hold the tools, safety equipment and ways to be safe and inclusive around others.
The Manual Arts Program is a fantastic opportunity for our youngest learners to explore creativity whilst developing important fine motor skills. We’re so grateful to Edy for taking the time to support our learners. The excitement is already building for what’s to come in Manual Arts!
