Road Safety Week at Camp Hill!
What an amazing three days we have had participating in Road Safety Week! Children of all ages and from every room had so much fun riding bikes and scooters, learning about road safety, and practising important skills in a fun and engaging way.
For the first time, our Camp Hill Centre car park was transformed into a mini road-safety space where children could practise important road rules and safety skills, such as giving way to pedestrians, stopping at crossings, following signs, staying on the correct side of the path, and learning to be aware of others around them.
It was wonderful to see the children so excited, engaged and confident as they put their road-safety knowledge into practice. We hope this can become a regular event on our centre calendar for many years to come!

🐾💙 RSPCA DAY – WE RAISED $466! 💙🐾
What an incredible day! Together, our Avenues Norman Park community raised an amazing $466 for the RSPCA to help animals in need. Our children were at the heart of the fundraiser, helping to bake delicious treats and create decorations for our bake sale. It was such a meaningful way for the children to learn about kindness, compassion and caring for animals.
Of course, RSPCA Day wouldn’t have been complete without a visit from our much-loved centre pet, Pandora! Pandora made her way around to visit all of our rooms, receiving plenty of pats and cuddles along the way. She even joined the Koala children for some artwork and helped create a masterpiece!
A huge THANK YOU to all of our families and educators who purchased treats and donated. Every cupcake, cookie and donation helped us reach this fantastic total.

We are so lucky to have Emily on our team as she brings a wealth of knowledge care and dedication to the team and the centre. Today we celebrated someone very special to our Avenues Sunnybank family, our wonderful Centre Cook, Michelle, who has dedicated an incredible 15 years to Avenues.
For 15 years, Michelle has brought so much love, care and dedication to everything she does. Her amazing cooking, delicious meals and commitment to providing nutritious food for our children is something we appreciate every single day.
Michelle’s contribution goes far beyond the kitchen. She is such an important part of our Avenues community and always brings her warmth, kindness and care to the children, families and educators around her.
Thank you, Michelle, for 15 incredible years of dedication, hard work and delicious meals. We are so grateful for everything you do and for the special part you play in our Avenues family.

The Avenues Jindalee staff and children participated in Pyjama day to raise awareness and funds for children in foster care.
The children and staff enjoyed being cosy in their warm pyjamas for the day and the families generously donated to the cause.
This helps teach the children empathy, kindness and community connection.
