I went to a conference this week about Trauma Awareness in Schooling. Here is my biggest take home. The impact of early adversity (physical and sexual abuse, household misfunction etc) is severely impacting the health outcomes of our most vulnerable children. It really is a public health crisis.The message from this talk is so powerful.
