For those of you who don’t know our owner and head coach Michael has accepted an invitation to fight in the Kyokoshin World Title Karate Tournament in Japan this year.
A monumental achievement and honour but also a message to every single person out there that you are never too far ahead in the game to learn something new, humble yourself in the name of growth or too old to chase a dream.
We are super proud and lucky to have someone who not just talks the talk but is willing to walk the walk and do the things he asks of his students too.
This journey has taken him to a new level of experience, gaining knowledge and experience from other instructors and showcasing the true spirit of martial arts which isn’t about conflict but respect and honour of one self and people in general.
We truly believe there is always something to learn no matter where we are and hope that this can also inspire you to chase your own goals whatever they may be.
All it takes is the right people in your corner and the willingness to be open to learning and the sense to put aside the fear of looking like a beginner to reap the rewards of the potential you carry.
Whether your journey is to fight, or just learn something new or find a new level within yourself - the choice starts with you!
