Routine-building is important for young children, as it helps them feel secure and reduces anxiety related to transitions and unexpected changes. Additionally, supporting children to build and monitor routines supports them to develop time and organisational management skills. Visually mapping out activities can support children to better understand their schedule and what to expect throughout the day.

My Day supports children by offering a visual way to track daily, weekly and monthly activities. The app provides a clear and structured approach to organising tasks and routines, which helps children feel more in control of their day and creates a sense of predictability and achievement.

Young children can struggle with understanding and expressing their emotions, which can lead to frustration or a feeling of being overwhelmed. Children benefit from learning simple and effective ways to identify and label their emotions and then learning how to choose and use strategies to manage them. Over time, the process of identifying, labelling and managing helps children build the skills needed for emotional regulation in everyday life.

I’m feeling... helps children identify, communicate and regulate their emotions by providing tools for emotional self-awareness and management. The app allows for customisable regulation strategies and it includes a downloadable history feature that lets children and their support network track emotional patterns over time. By encouraging children to log their emotions regularly and explore self-soothing methods, the app promotes emotional resilience and self-regulation. In moments of heightened emotion when a child finds it difficult to express themselves, I’m feeling… offers a quick and non-invasive tool to provide immediate support for both the child and their caregiver.

Inside Voice helps children develop self-awareness and regulate the volume of their voice based on different social settings. The app uses customisable environments and easy-to-understand volume meters to teach children how to adjust their voice appropriately in various contexts, such as at home, in school or in public spaces. This helps build social awareness and fosters self-regulation in everyday interactions.

Children can struggle with modulating their voice volume, especially in new or overwhelming environments. Inside Voice provides a visual and interactive way for them to learn when to speak softly and when it’s appropriate to be louder. Over time, this skill becomes an important part of understanding social cues and developing a sense of appropriateness in different settings.

How Much Longer? helps children develop patience and a greater tolerance for waiting by using custom timers and engaging themes that suit various interests. It turns wait time into a more positive experience.

Young children often struggle to grasp the concept of time, especially when it comes to understanding how long they need to wait. Their tolerance for waiting can be low and can lead to frustration or anxiety. Using visual and other cues can support the development of wait time tolerance. How Much Longer? provides visual and engaging countdown-based timers that support children in visualising the passage of time and learning to focus attention elsewhere while waiting. This approach helps reduce stress during waiting periods and encourages the gradual development of patience. Over time, they will start associating specific activities with particular time frames, enhancing their ability to predict and handle wait times in everyday situations.
