🎨✨ Creativity in Action in Junior Kindy! ✨🎨

Our Junior Kindy children engaged in a wonderful art and craft experience using a variety of loose parts. With items such as natural materials, recycled resources, and open-ended craft materials, the children used their imaginations to create unique masterpieces that were entirely their own.

Loose parts play encourages children to think creatively, problem-solve, and explore their ideas without limits. As they selected, arranged, and combined different materials, they developed important fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creative thinking. These experiences also support decision-making, concentration, and self-expression, allowing each child to showcase their individuality and ideas.

It's amazing to see how a simple collection of materials can inspire such imaginative creations and meaningful learning opportunities. We loved watching the children's confidence grow as they proudly shared their artwork with friends and educators.

🌿🎶 Music, Movement & Outdoor Fun! 🎶🌿

Our Nursery children enjoyed a wonderful outdoor music experience, exploring sounds, rhythm, and movement in the fresh air. With plenty of smiles, dancing, clapping, and instrument play, the children immersed themselves in the joy of making music together.

Music experiences provide so many valuable benefits for our youngest learners. Through singing, listening, and moving to music, children develop their communication and language skills, coordination, and sense of rhythm. Music also supports social and emotional development, helping children express themselves, build confidence, and connect with their peers in a fun and meaningful way.

Taking music outdoors adds another layer of learning, allowing children to explore their environment, enjoy the sensory benefits of nature, and engage their whole bodies through movement and play.

🥞👩‍🍳 Cooking Up Fun with Miss Ella! 👩‍🍳🥞

Today, our Kindy children had a wonderful time in the kitchen with Miss Ella, making delicious pancakes from scratch! From measuring ingredients and mixing the batter to watching their pancakes cook, the children were fully involved in every step of the process.

Cooking experiences like these provide so many valuable learning opportunities. Children develop their fine motor skills through pouring, mixing, and stirring, while also exploring important early maths concepts such as counting, measuring, and sequencing. They learn to follow instructions, practise patience, and build confidence as they create something all on their own.

Most importantly, cooking together encourages teamwork, communication, and independence, while creating meaningful memories and fostering a positive relationship with healthy food.

The smiles on their faces said it all, and of course, the best part was enjoying their tasty pancakes together! 🥞💛

💙 Father’s Day Celebration 💙

A heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful families who joined us yesterday for our Father’s Day celebration. We are so grateful for the fantastic turnout and the beautiful sense of community spirit that filled our day.

It was so special to see our children surrounded by the important people in their lives — whether that was a dad, grandad, uncle, family member, friend, or another special person who loves and supports them. We recognise that every family is unique, and we are grateful for all the wonderful people who play an important role in our children’s lives. 💙

The children had such a wonderful time sharing these special experiences with their loved ones, creating memories and celebrating together. 🥰

A very special thank you to our amazing educators for the thoughtful and engaging experiences they organised. Your creativity, care and dedication helped make the day so meaningful and memorable for our children and families.

We would like to say a big thank you to all our families for your generous donations to our Clothes Swap over the past two weeks. We received so many beautiful donations that we even had to extend the event for an extra week!

Your support and generosity have been amazing. Any leftover clothing and items have now been donated to Lifeline Australia across the road from us, where they will continue to benefit others in our community.

Thank you again for helping make this initiative such a success!

We participated in the 2026 National Simultaneous Storytime today. The book was called Luna Roo the Kangaroo baller.
It tells the story of Rookie captain Luna Roo who leaves nothing on the pitch as she leads FC Outback in a thrilling face-off against Bush United. Faced with a spider goalkeeper, snakes in attack and bubbling nerves, Luna must trust her skills and her teammates to soar to victory.

Written by football veterans Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, Luna Roo captures all the intense excitement of the game, with a heartwarming message that courage and determination are a winning combination.

A heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful mothers and special people who joined us for our Mother’s Day event this week. It was so lovely to see our families spending quality time together and creating beautiful memories with the children. 💐

A massive thank you to our amazing team of educators for organising such incredible experiences and creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. A special shout out to Miss Usha for baking the absolutely delicious homemade scones enjoyed throughout the afternoon, they were a huge hit!

And finally, to all mothers, grandmothers, aunties, carers, mother figures, and wonderful animal mums of every kind, we wish you a very Happy Mother’s Day this Sunday. Thank you for all the love, care, guidance, cuddles, and support you give each and every day. 💕
