“Someday, I’d love to speak Japanese…” ✨

Have you been thinking that for months—or even years?

Life gets busy with work, school, family, and all the responsibilities that come with it. And starting something new takes energy. We completely understand.

That’s exactly why we’ve decided to open a new class designed for people who want to take that first step but just need a little extra encouragement. ✨

This new class starts a little earlier than our previous sessions, making it easier to fit Japanese into your week.

Even after a full 90 minutes lesson, the class finishes at 8:00 PM, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy dinner, relax at home, or unwind with your favourite TV show. It’s a schedule that works well even if you have an early start the next morning.

We’ve also made this class more accessible and beginner-friendly than ever, with a new format to help more people start their Japanese learning journey with confidence.

Why wait for “someday” when you can start today?

Our classes are more than just a place to learn vocabulary and grammar. They’re a place to meet like-minded people, discover Japanese culture, build confidence, and expand your world.

Beginners are always welcome. Our friendly teachers and supportive community are ready to welcome you with open arms.

📅 Every Wednesday | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 Alderley

To help students improve their speaking skills effectively, our classes are kept small. Places are limited, so if you’ve been thinking, “This time, I’m really going to do it,” we’d love to hear from you. Send us a message through the link below 💌

Imagine walking the same path as Samurai did 400 years ago... 🏔️✨

This is the Nakasendo Trail (中山道), an ancient highway connecting Kyoto and Tokyo during the Edo period. Preserved towns like Magome and Tsumago make you feel like you've stepped back in time.

💡 Today’s Japanese Lesson for Travelers:
When you get lost or want to find a beautiful spot like this, use this phrase:

🗣️ 「ここはどこですか?」(Koko wa doko desu ka?)

Matsumoto Castle

In contrast to Himeji Castle, which is known as the “White Heron Castle,” Matsumoto Castle is also called the “Crow Castle” because of its dark exterior. It is one of Japan’s four National Treasure castles.

The castle was originally built by the Ogasawara clan in the early Sengoku period, and was later seized by Takeda Shingen. After the fall of the Takeda clan, Ogasawara Sadayoshi returned, and afterward the Ishikawa, Mizuno, and Toda clans successively used it as their residence.
