Ahoy, Tiny Legends!

Last week, our Tiny Legends crew got into the pirate spirit for Talk Like a Pirate Day!

We had a swashbuckling day filled with pirate dress-ups, silly pirate voices, adventures and plenty of “ARRR!” as our children and educators came together to support an incredibly important cause.

We are so proud to share that our amazing Tiny Legends community raised a total of $66.50 to go towards supporting children and families affected by childhood cancer.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful families and educators for getting involved and helping us make a difference! Every little contribution helps!

Connecting Through Art, Culture & Storytelling!

We were so excited to welcome Bindi Lee back to Tiny Legends to spend time with our Kindergarten children, creating beautiful material and textile pieces together.

Throughout the experience, the children had the opportunity to explore and learn about symbols and their meanings, with Bindi sharing knowledge and encouraging the children to think about how symbols can communicate stories, ideas, connections and identity.

We are incredibly grateful to Bindi for continuing to share her knowledge, culture and creativity with our Kindergarten children

Crazy Hair Day at Tiny Legends!

We recently went a little crazy with our hairstyles for Crazy Hair Day, and what a fun day it was!

Our children and educators got creative with wild, colourful and wonderfully crazy hairstyles, all while coming together to support a great cause.

We are so proud to share that together, our Tiny Legends community raised a fantastic $51.05!

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful families and educators who got involved and helped make the day such a success!

Connecting with Culture with Trae Trae!

We were so fortunate to welcome back Trae Trae to the centre, where he shared his knowledge, stories and culture with our children and educators!

The children had the opportunity to explore ochre, traditional dance, animal skins and traditional clothing items, creating a hands-on and meaningful experience that encouraged curiosity and respect for culture.

Thank you, Trae Trae, for sharing your knowledge and culture with our Tiny Legends community! We can’t wait to have you back to share more!

Today we celebrated our amazing, beautiful and dedicated educators who bring so much love, care and joy to our Tiny Legends every single day!

We are so incredibly grateful for everything you do for the little moments, the big moments, the endless cuddles, the learning, the laughter and the love you give so freely!

Book Week 2026 📚

Today, Tiny Legends is proudly supporting Red Nose Day, helping raise awareness and funds to support families affected by the loss of a much-loved baby or child.

This fundraiser is particularly close to our hearts at Tiny Legends. In 2024, our lovely Miss Megan from Senior Toddlers experienced the unimaginable heartbreak of losing her beautiful baby girl, Laila, due to a late-term pregnancy.

This August, Megan has participated in the Red Nose Red, Set, Go Challenge, walking 3km every day throughout the month to raise funds and support parents and families who have experienced the loss of a baby or child. ❤️

Megan has a donation box located in our foyer, with QR codes linking directly to her fundraiser. If you would like to support Megan in her fundraising efforts, you can donate into the donation box located at the sign-in desk or scan the QR code to make a donation directly.

This August, our children have been taking part in MS Readathon — reading, discovering new stories and helping raise funds for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS).

We’d love for our Tiny Legends families to get behind our little readers and help us make a difference. Even a small donation can have an impact.

You’ll find QR code posters in our foyer where you can donate, as well as a coin donation jar for anyone who would like to contribute.

Let’s turn our children’s love of books into something that can make a real difference.

This Mother’s Day, you can help bring comfort to a mother who has fled domestic violence and is currently living in crisis accommodation.

Micah Projects – Brisbane Domestic Violence Service is seeking donations of brand new robes to support and uplift isolated mothers during this time.

Tiny Legends is proud to be one of the official drop-off points for this meaningful initiative as part of the Spread the Warmth 2026 Campaign.

Donations can be dropped off at our centre—or any dedicated location across Brisbane—until Friday, 1st May.
