Australian Centre for Health Law Research - ACHLR Australian Centre for Health Law Research at QUT We are a specialist health law centre within Queensland University of Technology's Faculty of Law.

Through our research, we generate new knowledge, evidence and insights to enhance health and legal policy and practice, and improve health outcomes. We undertake research into a broad range of health law issues including end of life decision-making, regulation of children's health and the beginning of life, the governance and regulation of health care, as well as ethical and policy issues relevant to these topics. As national leader in health law, with the highest concentration of health law scholars in Australia, our researchers have a strong track record of undertaking high impact and high quality research in health law. We engage with scholars, government, health services, the health and legal professions and communities across Australia and internationally to address health law issues of local, national and global significance.
