Seniors T40 Volleyball Celebrations 🏆🥉

🥇 Senior Girls – T40 Champions (the first time we have taken home the trophy!) defeating Marsden State High School in a thrilling grand final.

🥉 Senior Boys – 3rd Place, an incredible achievement for a newly established team, finishing with a win over the highly regarded Holland Park State High School.

⭐ A special congratulations to Zaiah Nuku and Valentino Isidore who received honourable mentions in the tournament MVP voting.

We’re incredibly proud of the way our students represented Springfield Central with pride, resilience and exceptional sportsmanship throughout the two-day tournament hosted by Calamvale.

Congratulations to all players and coaches on a fantastic result! 💙💛

🏀 2026 Springfield Basketball Cup Results 🏀

On 2 June, our school proudly hosted the inaugural Springfield Basketball Cup, welcoming five schools from across the local region to compete in Open Boys and Open Girls divisions. 🏆

The competition was fierce throughout the day, with our Year 9/10 Girls narrowly defeated by just one point in a thrilling final against St Peters Lutheran Springfield. In the Open Boys final, St Peter Claver claimed victory after an exciting back-and-forth contest.

Congratulations to the 2026 Springfield Basketball Cup champions and to all teams who participated and helped make the event such a success. Thank you for your sportsmanship, effort and enthusiasm throughout the day.👏

⛩ Year 11 Japanese ⛩

Last Friday our Year 11 Japanese classes had the opportunity to practice their Japanese and try some Japanese snacks! 🇯🇵

Our wonderful Japanese teachers organised a cafe experience at our school cafe by having students order both their drinks and snacks in Japanese. This was a great opportunity to apply the knowledge they've been learning in class. 👏
