We're excited to celebrate the joy of reading with a week of fun-filled Book Week activities! Students will enjoy dressing up as their favourite book characters, taking part in creative activities, sharing wonderful stories, and celebrating the magic that books bring to our lives.

Student Costume Parade & Morning Tea - Bring your favourite book characters to life and celebrate the stories that inspire you. Whether you choose a hero, villain, or another character from a much-loved tale, come dressed to impress and add your own voice to our Symphony of Stories.

Best Student Costume
Most Innovative Costume
Outstanding Ensemble β a group challenge! Collaborate with your friends and come as an ensemble.
Book Talk - Introduce your favourite book to fellow readers by sharing what makes it special and why others should add it to their reading list.
Students will enjoy dressing up as their favourite book characters, taking part in creative activities, sharing wonderful stories, and celebrating the magic that books bring to our lives. We can't wait to see everyone's amazing costumes and watch imaginations come to life. π

Book Bag Decorating - Design and personalise your very own book bag with artwork, characters, quotes, and ideas inspired by the books you love.
Bookmark Making - Design and decorate your own unique bookmark. Take home your creation to keep your place.
Students will enjoy dressing up as their favourite book characters, taking part in creative activities, sharing wonderful stories, and celebrating the magic that books bring to our lives. We can't wait to see everyone's amazing costumes and watch imaginations come to life. π

π What a way to finish our dance competition season! π
On Monday 10th August, our Inspire, Ignite and Central Crew Dance Academy teams took to the stage for the final competition of the year at the Ipswich Performers Dance Festival.
Our dancers performed with incredible passion, confidence and professionalism, showcasing the hard work and dedication they've poured into every rehearsal this year. We couldn't be prouder of the way they represented our school both on and off the stage. π¦
A huge thank you also goes to our wonderful families and supporters who filled the audience with energy and encouragement. Your support means the world to our dancers! π
Our dancers were awarded the following:
π 2nd Place β Combined Student Choreography (choreographed by Amanda & Bella β Year 11 & 12)
π 2nd Place β Central Crew (Hip Hop)
π 3rd Place β Combined Musical Theatre
π Highly Commended β Inspire Lyrical
π Highly Commended β Ignite Contemporary
Our performers also received the Most Entertaining Award for their Combined Musical Theatre routine, "It's Your Wedding Day," choreographed by Miss Ashley.
Congratulations to every dancer on an outstanding competition season. We can't wait to see these routines light up the stage one final time later this year! π
