GSS 2024 LAUCH PARTY IS ON ‼️
Here’s some important info for the night:
When: Thursday April 11th, doors open at 7pm
Where: The Brightside (27 Warner Street, Fortitude Valley)
This is an 18+ event that is FREE for all GSS members! Memberships can be purchased through the link in our bio (early bird $15 memberships end April 4th) or at the door on the night.
Every attendee will receive a FREE drink upon arrival!
Enjoy live music on the night from local bands & + a DJ set to finish up.

Our Launch Party for 2023 is almost here 🚀 Here’s some important info to remember:

Date: 30th of March, from 7pm to 12pm
Venue: The Brightside (27 Warner St, Fortitude Valley)
This event is free for all GSS members and is for MEMBERS ONLY! Anyone is able to purchase a membership at the door, however, Early Bird ends the 16th of March so get in quick!
Each member will receive 1x Free Drink Voucher (it’s on us 😉)
We have a band and a DJ for the night! Our incredible band will be playing from 7:30pm and the amazing will be on from 9pm onwards 🎶

Our Story
The Griffith Screen Society are a dedicated group of students interested in creating a fun, all inclusive culture at the Queensland College of Arts. The society organises workshops, events and projects that promote collaboration between all courses, disciplines, institutions and years. You don't have to be a film student to join! We welcome animators, game designers, composers, writers, and anyone interested in films and/or filmmaking.

Regardless of the areas of interest, the aim is to bring different personalities together in order to create a more dynamic experience because we are all just striving to excel. I would like to move beyond just being a film school society, but as a beacon of help and support to reassure members they are never alone at university. Joining is simple! Membership for an academic year is open to anyone - for Griffith Students its $20 and for everyone else its $25. This can be paid on our website or via Bank Transfer.
