They got up close with some amazing sea creatures, learnt some cool facts about life under the ocean and had plenty of fun along the way. 🐢🦈🐙

Little Learners Wrap Up from LEAD Childcare Mango Hill

🌿 A Special Visit to Our Centre! 🌿

This morning, we were so excited to welcome a couple of wonderful fellow Educational Leaders from LEAD Mackay and LEAD Goondiwindi to our centre! 💛

It was a wonderful opportunity to share our practices, showcase the amazing learning and experiences happening across our rooms, and connect with other passionate educators from our sector.

We are incredibly proud of the passion, creativity and dedication our educators bring to their work each and every day. It was a privilege to open our doors and share our beautiful centre, our learning environments and our approach to early learning with our visitors. 🌱✨

We loved sharing what makes our centre so special and connecting with such inspiring Educational Leaders. 💛

🌊🐚 Sun, sand, shells & BIG adventures! 🌿🌳
What an incredible day our LEAD Mango Hill Vacation care children had! ☀️

Today, our little adventurers headed to the beach for a day filled with exploration, discovery and plenty of fun!

From hunting for beautiful shells 🐚 to climbing trees 🌳, the children embraced every opportunity to get outdoors, challenge themselves and connect with nature. There were curious minds, sandy hands, big smiles and plenty of proud moments along the way!

🌿 Why is nature play so important?
Nature play encourages children to explore, imagine, problem-solve and develop a deep connection with the world around them. It supports physical development, confidence, creativity and wellbeing — all while having FUN!

🌳 And what about risky play?
Climbing, balancing, jumping and testing their abilities give children the chance to assess challenges, build resilience and develop confidence in their own capabilities. With thoughtful supervision and appropriate boundaries, a little risk can lead to some BIG learning! ✨

Today wasn't just a day at the beach… it was a day of childhood magic, adventure and learning through doing. 💛
