At Griffith, nature isn't just something that surrounds our campuses, it's part of who we are!

From protecting almost 180 hectares of forest and planting koala habitat trees, to supporting more than 2,000 recorded species across our campuses, we're committed to creating spaces where people and nature can thrive together.

Today, on World Environment Day, we celebrate the ecosystems that surround us and the importance of protecting them for generations to come. 💚🍃

Griffith criminologist and artist Rachel Dioso-Villa transforms 15 years of research into a powerful visual exhibition exploring the systemic nature and emotional aftermath of wrongful convictions.

Bringing together three interconnected bodies of work, Data, Process, and Response, the exhibition examines how errors occur within legal systems, reveals the research behind the work, and explores the often-unspoken emotional impact on exonerees, their families, advocates, and researchers.

By combining art and criminology, After invites audiences to engage with wrongful conviction beyond statistics and legal outcomes, creating space for reflection, empathy, and conversation.

Today, on National Sorry Day, our panel discussion at Griffith University's Logan campus explored this year's theme for National Reconciliation Week - "All In".

Bringing together diverse perspectives, the conversation explored where reconciliation is making an impact, where it is falling short, and what must shift to move beyond intention toward real change.

Creating space for listening, learning and reflecting. 🖤💛❤️
