Aussie Clog got a little line dancing twist this year, and, it was so much fun!
A big thank you to John Bishop from Cowboy Culture Line & Clog for leading the workshop and getting everyone moving. We all know John as a much-loved clogging instructor, but he also brings so much experienceas a line dancing instructor. We were in very good hands.
It is always fun to mix things up and explore other styles of dance, and line dancing and clogging have such a great connection through country music, rhythm, patterns and that “everyone on the floor together” feeling.
And let’s be honest, cloggers are pretty good at picking things up. Give us a beat, a few counts and someone like John out the front, and we are off!
Such a fun part of the weekend, and another little layer that made Aussie Clog feel even more special.

What an absolute treat it was having Mark Lavender Musician join us at Aussie Clog this year!
Such a talented musician and entertainer.
We had Mark at dinner time where many couldn't resist and were up and dancing already and then afterwards, we had the most incredible experience clogging while he sang live.
Mark, thank you so much for becoming part of our Aussie Clog community for the night. You and your music fitted in so well with what we do, and you were so generous in working with us so that we could cue the routines while you sang and make sure everyone could join in. It made the night feel so special and so inclusive.
That night of dancing will live long in our memories.
Honestly, THE BEST SOCIAL EVER! ❤️
