It was great to see several UQGEOS members attend the AIG QLD Mentoring Program Kickoff Event last week as mentees 😆
The event provided a fantastic opportunity to make connections and kick off the mentoring program for 2026z

Join the Geo & Physics Society again for another fun night of bouldering 🧗‍♀️✨ good vibes 😌 and great company! Whether you’re a seasoned climber or trying it out for the first time, this is the perfect chance to get involved and meet new people 👯‍♂️

⏰ **4:30–7:00pm** (but stay and climb as long as you like — the venue is open until **10:00pm**!)
🍕 **Pizza included with your ticket** so you can refuel between climbs

⚠️ **Important:** If you’re already an Urban Climb member, make sure to purchase the *member ticket option* — tickets are required for entry

📍 **Please note:** There are two entrances — enter via the **bouldering section**, not the ropes side
📝 If you haven’t climbed at Urban Climb before, allow extra time to complete the induction before climbing
