Well, that’s a wrap for Wynnum and Manly Music 2026! 🎶

Congratulations to all of our students who came together, learnt completely new music in just one day, and then performed it at 2 o’clock that afternoon!

The level of concentration required to learn and rehearse an entire program of new music in such a short time is no small feat. This is what instrumental music is all about. It’s so much more than just learning an instrument — it’s about developing concentration, resilience, teamwork, confidence and so many other skills that our students will take with them into their teenage years and beyond.

A huge thank you to Mr Cerasi, Miss Forster, Mr Lumsdale and Mrs Patterson for coming along and helping us throughout the day, and to Mrs Rossow for coming to each of our concerts and continuing to support instrumental music.

What a great way to finish Wynnum and Manly Music for 2026! 🎺🎷🥁
