Manly SS students brought their favourite book characters to life today with some truly wonderful costumes.

A huge thank you to our students, families and staff for making our annual Book Week Parade such a special event!

Yr4-6 Students - Touch Football Academy Update

Sing Stars Junior Choir will be performing on parade in the school hall next Friday, 28th August. We can't wait to hear them sing! Everyone is welcome at parade, so please come along to watch!

Manly State School - Book Week Parade! Friday 21st August in the hall at 9am. Come along dressed as your favourite book character!
You are invited to stay in your character costume all day, no need to change after parade if you don't want to, please make sure you have appropriate footwear - no open toe shoes.

You will have noticed our wonderful Grounds Officer, Mr Fred Streets, has been away for a few weeks and will be away for a few more. While Mr Streets is on leave, we have a new Grounds Officer commencing this week - introducing Mr Dale Schneider. Please say hello to Mr Schneider if you see him around the school to welcome him to the Manly Family. 👋

We are very excited to announce our Prep playground will undergo $85,000 of refurbishment works from Monday 24 August to Friday 11 September!

Congratulations to our Year 6 Band students who were awarded the Spirit of Fanfare award. This award is presented to bands who display outstanding musicianship, teamwork and commitment. Thank you Mrs Anderson and Mr Cosic for all your hard work with our bands.

At parade today our newly elected Student Council students received their badges.
