A historic working vessel is about to begin a remarkable second life beneath the waves.

The retired MV Andrew Wilson will be deliberately sunk off Brighton Beach to create South Australia's newest artificial reef and future dive site. The project aims to provide new habitat for marine life while supporting ecosystem recovery following the state's harmful algal bloom.
