Our Weekly Update: Anna and I were encouraged by everyone’s life-giving words last Sunday. It was especially good to hear how God’s Word has been at work in you. James 1:2-5 summed up the message that came through our church.

This week Val & I had a special father-daughter hang-out time for the school holidays. Our adventure included dumplings, a movie and a tour of the QLD museum. And today, Anna had a blessed time visiting her mum & dad.

Tomorrow, we will continue to minister the Word to one another. If you’re coming to Church on the Park, pray about sharing a reflection, encouragement, Scripture or testimony. We will be unplugged and acoustic, except for Zoom. We will conclude our time with communion.

Our Bible School family is still on break for another week. Bible school will resume on 12 October.

Love,

Glen & Anna

This morning, I remembered Anna's beautiful song that she recorded with our Holy Fire School graduates. Teach Me Your Ways is inspired by Psalm 25, which also inspired my new book, The Secret of the Lord. I hope the song and book bless you, and feel free to share them with friends and family. A big thanks to all of you who have made this possible. Search for Anna’s song on YouTube and my books on Amazon

Our Weekly Update: Congratulations to the Brisbane Lions, who just won their third AFL Grand Final in a row today. Many years ago, friends from our church took me to a few Lions games and taught me about AFL. Otherwise, I would have no idea what was going on.

Monday, we ended our first term of the Spirit Unit at Holy Fire School. We had an awesome night, and now we’re on a 2-week break.

Tomorrow at Church on the Park (10 am), we will worship together and discuss God’s Word, especially what we’ve been learning this year. Our goal is to digest what God has been saying and what we've been hearing. We will have a low-key setup under the awning. Please pray about something to share.

I’m thanking God and all of you that yesterday I just published The Secret of the Lord, based on my teaching of Psalm 25. I appreciate your prayers that our Father would use the book for his glory. You can now find it worldwide on Amazon and Kindle: https://mybook.to/thesecretofthelord
