CSTC Pty Ltd (CSTC) is an award winning, not for profit, registered training organisation, committed to the training & ongoing development of construction workers. CSTC began in 1994 and since day one, CSTC’s purpose is to provide training for all workers in the building and construction industry. There are no beneficiaries and therefore CSTC returns any annual financial profit toward enhancing and/or improving CSTC’s training facilities in turn broaden the training offered to workers in industry to gain new skills and/or refresh and upgrade existing ones. CSTC’s singular focus has always been about improving your skills base and that of the industry and that is why CSTC lives by its tag line: “We are here to improve your future”.

🚑 Be ready when it matters most with CSTC’s First Aid Cluster.

This course is designed to give participants the practical skills and knowledge needed to respond effectively in an emergency, including supporting breathing and circulation for an adult, child or infant, as well as providing First Aid.

Whether you’re updating workplace qualifications, refreshing your knowledge or organising training for your team, CSTC can help you stay prepared and compliant.

⏱️ CPR refresher training is recommended annually, while First Aid qualifications should generally be renewed every three years.

Work safely and confidently with agricultural chemicals. 🌱🧪

CSTC’s AHCSS00074 Agricultural Chemical Skill Set covers the practical skills and knowledge required to safely transport, handle, store, prepare and apply chemicals.

The course also includes:

🌾 Preparing a chemical application plan
🧪 Preparing chemical mixes
⚙️ Calibrating application equipment
🚜 Applying chemicals safely and correctly

For people who distribute herbicides using ground equipment on land they don’t own or occupy, a commercial operator’s licence may be required. Successful completion of this course meets the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries requirements to qualify for that licence.

Whether you’re working in agriculture, horticulture, landscaping or grounds maintenance, build the practical skills you need to work with chemicals safely and responsibly.

Building skills, confidence and safer worksites 👷‍♀️💪

CSTC recently welcomed Empowered Women in Trades and the Lendlease Ladies Boot Camp for a hands-on Working at Heights training day, giving participants the opportunity to build practical skills and confidence in a real training environment.

From understanding the risks to learning the correct equipment and safety procedures, the day was all about helping women feel more prepared, capable and confident when working at heights.

We’re proud to support initiatives that encourage more women into trades and provide them with the practical training, experience and confidence they need to succeed safely on site.

A big thanks to the Empowered Women in Trades team, Lendlease, CSQ and everyone who took part!

🚧 Getting hands-on at Keebra Park! 👷‍♂️

CSTC recently joined students at Keebra Park State High School for another Try’a Trade Day, proudly supported by CSQ, giving students the chance to get behind the controls and experience the construction industry first-hand.

From operating the excavator to getting up on the scissor lift, students were able to try real equipment, build confidence and get a better idea of what a future career in construction could look like.

The AHC10124 Certificate I in Conservation and Ecosystem Management is designed to build foundation-level skills and knowledge for people looking to gain initial experience, become involved in community conservation work, or take the first step toward further study in the industry.

Participants develop basic practical, technical and communication skills to complete defined routine tasks in a structured conservation work environment. 🌱🧤
