Thank you to the coaches, volunteers, parents and staff who enable our students to flourish in a number of ways; driving to early morning training sessions, encouraging music practice at home, attending and cheering at after-school activities and rehearsing that piece one more time!
Well done students.

PREP GARDEN SHOW
Prep children had a chance to exhibit their own wonderful and green work of art that they have done at home. It was amazing to see all the creativity and efforts put into each one. We rotated around each classroom taking photos, being judges or just having a look at all the different garden creations. It was a fun learning experience and a great opportunity to thank God for his creation.

HONOUR WALK - Class of 2021
Congratulations Year 12s - you have finished an incredible year.
An electric atmosphere of celebration from the entire Citipointe community. Then they came... the Year 12 students running through the student-made tunnel down to the oval to celebrate their final moments as Citipointe students. Years 6 - 11 joined in the College War Cry, cheered for Mrs Moore's final Honour Walk and counted down with the Year 12's for their final school bell.
Class of 2021, you have flourished. We pray God’s blessings upon you all as you journey through all that God has in store.
Thank you to the parents, alumni and friends for supporting the Class of 2021!
For the past two days, the students in our ASPIRE program have experienced a taste of life in Ancient Greece. Divided into multiage city-states, the Spartans, Corinthians and Athenians worked together in a spirit of cooperation and competition. Activities ranged from making theatre masks and mosaics to philosophy and decoding Greek language roots. One highlight was an Olympic ‘Decathlon’ of challenges which included learning a dance, completing a maze blindfolded, building and testing a boat and reconstructing a pot from an archaeological dig.
A banquet provided a wonderful opportunity for trying new foods and building relationships. The grand finale of our 2021 Historical School experience was the production and performance of Greek comedy plays. The students are to be commended for their outstanding attitudes and willingness to face unfamiliar situations with courage and spirit.
KIDS' LIT QUIZ NATIONAL WINNERS!
Congratulations to Tiffy, Irene, Ashish and Jacob on their recent success at the Kids' Lit Quiz Australia Nationals. The team qualified in April after winning the regional heat, and have maintained their reading momentum until last Friday, when they won the virtual competition against 10 other primary and secondary teams from around Australia.
Big shout out to Mrs Horton for coaching them to success.
HONOURING MRS MOORE: 2022 Student Presidents, Thomas M & Oliva V presented Head of Secondary, Mrs Helen Moore, with a gift (the Senior Jersey) and shared the following words:
"There is not a more wonderful example of servant leadership than Mrs Moore. After 22 years of leading Citipointe Christian College’s Secondary school with abiding grace and strength, we sadly see the end of Mrs Moore’s time at the College.
"Mrs Moore has left an everlasting impact in all our lives. Since working with her more closely over the past five months, her compassion and support has shone brightly as she aims to build us into fine leaders. For many of us, her underlying sense of humour has brightened up many tense moments throughout this short period of time we’ve spent together.
"I remember walking into that interview room as part of the leadership application process, being super nervous. As soon as I sat down in that chair and was met with Mrs Moore’s warm smile and words of encouragement and comfort, I felt so much calmer.
"We pray that God will continue working through you – watching over you with His hand of protection and endless love. We are forever grateful for the mark you have left on this school and the legacy you leave behind. We wish you well as you 'graduate' and move into the next stage of life."
