📢 POLICY UPDATE FOR WILSTON KIDS CARE FAMILIES
At Wilston Kids Care, we are committed to providing high-quality care, education and wellbeing experiences for every child.
As part of our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, Chapter 5 – Education, Curriculum and Pedagogy has now been formally reviewed, ratified and released as part of our annual policy review process.
We would like to sincerely thank the families who took the time to provide feedback during the consultation period. Your feedback is valued and contributes to our ongoing review and improvement of our policies and practices, helping us ensure they continue to reflect the needs of our children, families and broader WKC community.
Following this review, the policies within Chapter 5 – Education, Curriculum and Pedagogy have been reviewed and updated to ensure alignment with:

✅ National Quality Framework expectations
✅ Child safety and safeguarding requirements
✅ Current best practice
✅ Feedback from our WKC community
✅ Operational improvements, learnings and reflective practice within our service

🔗 Parent Portal – An Xplor notification with the link to Chapter 5 has been sent to all families this afternoon as the polices were released to the portal last Friday.
We encourage all families to regularly visit the Parent Portal to stay informed about our policies, procedures and important service updates.
Our policies are living documents. They are reviewed and updated regularly as part of our commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring they continue to support safe, respectful, inclusive and high-quality practice across Wilston Kids Care.
