Have you checked out 12See?

12See ECHO - Built for Family Day Care.

Most programming tools are made for a room of same-age children. ECHO is made for how family day care actually works — one educator, a small mixed-age group, in a real home.

Plan an activity once and tick the children taking part. Each child gets their own EYLF milestone list matched to their age band, so a single plan works across your whole mixed-age group — the toddler and the four-year-old each tracked against what's right for them.

From there ECHO keeps everything joined up:

Your observations and Daily ECHO link straight back to the activity you planned, with milestones, EYLF outcomes and photos all tied to the day it actually happened.

Set up your family groups once, and sharing the day is one click — sent straight to the families it's meant for, without the after-hours admin.

The record builds itself as you go, so the paperwork stays in step with the day instead of piling up for later.

You know your children and your program inside out. ECHO just keeps the records matching the care you're already giving.

Have a look under ECHO next time you're in the app.

Family Day Care offers something truly unique 💛

Through smaller group settings, consistent relationships and home-based environments, children are provided with opportunities to feel secure, connected and genuinely known. Family Day Care creates space for responsive interactions, mixed-age learning, flexibility and meaningful connections with families and the community.

Thank you to Family Day Care Australia for continuing to advocate for and celebrate the important role Family Day Care plays within the early childhood sector.

March 27th is the Worker Register deadline — and FDSee services are ready. ✅

Over the past few months, we've put in significant development work to build a Worker Register JSON export specifically for Family Day Care — including completing successful testing directly with ACECQA to confirm our export structure meets NQA ITS requirements.

This wasn't a small task. Family Day Care is complex — multiple roles, FDC- specific data structures, mandatory fields that needed to be right. We designed the whole approach around the unique depth of data FDSee already holds for FDC services, so the path to upload is as clean as possible.

What's available now to FDSee users:
✅ Pre-submission error checking — flag and fix issues before you generate your file
✅ JSON export aligned to ACECQA's schema, tested and confirmed
✅ Step-by-step upload into the NQA ITS Provider Portal
✅ A dashboard to manage ongoing Worker Register obligations

FDSee was built for Family Day Care. This is what that means in practice.

And together with 12See, FDSee services have a complete compliance picture — from day-to-day service management and educator documentation through to government reporting and now the Worker Register. One ecosystem, built entirely around how Family Day Care works.

If you're not already using FDSee or 12See — reach out, we're here. Come and find out what you're missing.

💛 Thinking of Victoria 💛

As fires continue to impact parts of Victoria, we pause to acknowledge the people and communities living through this difficult time. Events like these remind us how deeply connected we all are.

We are thinking of everyone affected and hope for safety, relief and calmer days ahead.

Have you seen this powerful ad?
It is a timely reminder about how quickly a child’s image can travel once it is posted online — even when shared with the best intentions.

As parents, carers and educators, we all love celebrating children’s milestones and everyday moments. This clip simply encourages us to pause and think about where a photo might end up, who might see it, and what information it may reveal.

It is not about fear — it is about awareness and making informed choices in a digital world. 💛
