2. Store Nutritionist position with Community Enterprise Queensland
Community Enterprise Queensland is seeking a passionate Store Nutritionist to join their Nutrition & Health team. This is a travelling role where you can have a tangible impact on public health nutrition outcomes and work alongside First Nations remote communities. The position will have a key role in the exciting new First Nations Nutrition Workforce Program, funded by the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA), to develop and deliver healthy retail strategies to support healthier food environment in community stores.

The QUT (Queensland University of Technology) community are saddened by the passing of Barbara Radcliffe. Barbara was an adjunct Associate Professor, course advisor, mentor, educator, supervisor and leader in community nutrition. An alumnus of QUT, she spent most of her career at Metro South Hospital and Health Service where her impact on the nutrition of the community is significant.
Barbara supervised over 100 nutrition students on their community placement. This photo was taken in 2021 on her retirement with some of these students QUT Alumni Deb Blakley, Helen Vidgen, Andrew Resetti and Leigh Bramwell who have continued to practice in this area. Her contribution to the profession in Queensland has been significant and her legacy is enormous. Thank you Barb.

The Queensland Country Women's Association's (QCWA) Country Kitchens program is a health promotion program supporting communities across Queensland to adopt healthier lifestyle behaviours. It is a partnership between the QCWA and the Queensland Government, funded through Health and Wellbeing Queensland.
They are currently seeking applicants who have nutrition and health promotion skills and experience for a full time or part time (0.8FTE), fixed-term parental leave cover until June 30, 2027 (with the possibility of extension), for a Health Promotion Team Leader role.
The Health Promotion Team Leader will be responsible for developing and delivering food and nutrition literacy training, supporting volunteer branch facilitators and building ongoing relationships with QCWA members. This role requires regular travel, including overnight stays, across Queensland, in regional, rural and remote areas.

Hi everyone!
The countdown to our high tea is on! We are looking forward to seeing everyone there. Just a reminder of the details:
Date: Saturday 29 November 2025
Location: Ballroom, Victoria Park Function Centre, 309 Herston Road, Herston.
There is parking at the venue, however as there are other events happening at the same time, the car park can fill up quickly. You may want to consider carpooling. Or, the venue is conveniently located near the Herston Busway.
The event will kick off at 1pm, so meet us on the balcony to register your attendance while enjoying a glass of sparkling!
We will be seated at 1:30 for the afternoon to begin. In addition to the high tea, there will be a cash bar available for you to purchase alcoholic beverages.
Some have inquired about the dress code, which is on the dressier side of smart casual 😉
We cannot wait to see you all for an afternoon of fun, laughter, and reminiscing:)

Just a quick reminder! Ticket sales to our 50th celebration High Tea event close soon.
We have extended the rsvp to our High Tea event to Monday morning at 9am so you have a few days to still secure your ticket. With over 100 wonderful students, alumni, staff and friends of QUT attending, the high tea is looking like it will be a really fun event.
