🔍✨ Detective Day at Goodstart Indooroopilly – York Street!
What an exciting day we had at the centre! Our little learners turned into junior detectives, thanks to one of our amazing families who visited to share the incredible world of forensics.

The children had an absolute blast:

- Adding their fingerprints to their own detective passports

- Making shoe‑print impressions with real tools and lights

- Exploring a forensics vehicle and hearing the siren

- Trying on the special protective overalls worn on the job

- Asking questions, investigating clues, and diving into imaginative role play

Their curiosity was buzzing all day, and the smiles said it all. Experiences like this help build confidence, spark imagination, and connect learning to the real world.

Our centre was buzzing with creativity as the children explored National Sorry Day through vibrant art, storytelling and shared conversations. Using paint, patterns, symbols and collaborative creations, the children expressed ideas about kindness, belonging and caring for our community in ways that were joyful, meaningful and completely their own.

Through creative arts, our little learners begin to understand that Australia has a rich First Nations history and that saying “sorry” is part of building a future filled with respect and connection. These early experiences help children grow into compassionate, culturally aware young people who value fairness and friendship.
