🌱💚 Growing Together Through Family Connections 💚🌱

Our children recently enjoyed a wonderful gardening experience alongside one of our amazing grandparents! Together, they planted bean sprouts that will soon become part of our centre's community garden. 🌱✨

Experiences like this provide valuable opportunities for children to learn about nature, sustainability, and caring for living things. Even more importantly, they help strengthen the connections between our centre, children, and families.

Building strong partnerships with families is an essential part of early childhood education. When children see their families sharing their knowledge, skills, and experiences within the learning environment, it helps foster a sense of belonging, confidence, and community. 💚

A big thank you to our wonderful grandparent for sharing their time and gardening expertise with us. We can't wait to watch our bean sprouts grow and continue nurturing our community garden together! 🌿🌼

🌱🪱 Our Community Worm Farm is Back! 🪱🌱

The Kindergarten children, alongside their highly engaged educators, have been busy giving our Community Worm Farm a wonderful refresh! 💚

A special thank you to Miss Diana and Miss Stephanie for kindly donating worms to help get our worm farm thriving again. 🐛✨

We would love our families to get involved! We will be encouraging everyone to bring in worm-friendly fruit and vegetable scraps to help feed our new wriggly friends and support our sustainability journey. 🍎🥕🍌

Our worm farm provides children with hands-on opportunities to learn about sustainability, recycling, and caring for the environment. Through feeding the worms and observing the composting process, children develop an understanding of how food scraps can be transformed into nutrient-rich soil, helping reduce waste and supporting a greener future. 🌏♻️

By participating in experiences like our worm farm, children are learning that even small actions can make a big difference in caring for our planet. 💚

Keep an eye out for more information on what scraps can be donated, and let's work together as a community to help our worm farm grow! 🌱🪱

💙 Miss Huong | Nursery Senior Educator 💙

We're excited to introduce Miss Huong, our wonderful Nursery Senior Educator!

✨ 5.5 years of experience in the Early Learning sector
✨ Part of the Goodstart family for almost 4 years
✨ Passionate about creating nurturing, responsive, and engaging environments for our youngest learners
✨ Dedicated to building strong relationships with children and families to support each child's individual learning journey

When she's not at the centre, Miss Huong enjoys:

✈️ Travelling and exploring new places
🍜 Trying different foods and discovering new flavours
🌏 Learning about and experiencing different cultures

Miss Huong brings warmth, patience, and dedication to our Nursery team every day. She loves supporting our youngest children as they develop confidence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging. Her caring nature and passion for creating meaningful connections help make the Nursery a safe, welcoming, and joyful place for children to learn and grow.
