Hey everyone! ☺️ Just a nudge that our next Science Social is next Saturday (1st August) from 10am at the usual Mi Casa Café, South Brisbane.

Science Social: Connect with Brisbane's science communicators over brunch! A regular, free, grassroots event for doers and lovers of science to network and engage in games, activities and discussions to exercise our sci-comm skills!

Sadly, Nate and Holly have both been struck down by the classic change-of-seasons flu this week 🤧

We'd prefer to bring our brightest (and least infectious) selves to these brunches, so we've decided to postpone this Saturday's Science Social.

The good news is that our next brunch is already locked in for Saturday 1st August at Mi Casa Café, kicking off from 10am as usual.

We're also in the process of scouting a potential new venue that may offer easier parking and less competing noise, while still giving us plenty of opportunity to eat, chat, connect, and continue our fabulous science brunches.
