We are incredibly excited to welcome Morgan, our new Chef, to the Story House Windsor team!

Morgan brings with him a passion for Early Childhood Nutrition and a thoughtful food philosophy centred around providing children with nourishing, practical, and enjoyable meals every day. His approach balances nutrition, child acceptance, quality ingredients, and the realities of a busy childcare environment, ensuring every meal supports healthy growth, development, and positive food experiences.

At the heart of Morgan’s philosophy is the belief that children thrive when food is familiar, well-prepared, and presented in a way that encourages confidence and curiosity around mealtimes. His menus focus on whole foods, fresh vegetables and fruits, quality proteins, legumes, whole grains, and healthy fats, while remaining child-friendly and enjoyable.

Morgan is also committed to creating inclusive, allergy-aware menus, supporting a variety of dietary needs while maintaining safe food practices and balanced nutrition for every child in our care.

Over the last few weeks, our team have had the pleasure of sampling dishes from Morgan’s new Autumn/Winter Menu, and we can confidently say there is plenty for our children to look forward to! The meals were packed with flavour, warmth, and wholesome ingredients, reflecting the care and dedication that Morgan brings to every dish.

We look forward to seeing Morgan’s vision come to life in our centre and continuing our commitment to fostering healthy eating habits, positive food relationships, and a love of nutritious food from an early age.

Connections ✨

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Simon
Mahaffy from Holy Cross School Wooloowin to Story
House Windsor. During his visit, we shared our
teaching practices and Kinder transition approaches,
quickly discovering a strong alignment in our
educational values and commitment to safeguarding
children.

Following this, our Service Manager, Shaira, visited
Holy Cross and spent time in their Prep and Year 1
classrooms. She was truly inspired by the warm,
inclusive environment and the strong relationships
between educators, students, and the wider community.

We are proud to be building this meaningful partnership
and look forward to supporting our families through a
connected transition to school in 2026.
