Today, we celebrate Our Lady of the Rosary. According to tradition, Our Lady appeared to St Dominic in the 13th century and urged him to use the Rosary to inspire prayer and conversion. For centuries, this powerful devotion has brought peace, strengthened families, deepened faith, and offered grace and protection to people around the world. 🙏📿

Our Week Ahead

As classes resume this week, students will settle back into routines, reconnect with friends and teachers, and begin engaging in a range of learning, co-curricular, and community activities. We look forward to a positive and productive start to the term and wish all members of our community a wonderful week ahead.

Congratulations to Year 11 student Hannah M, who sent in photographic evidence of San Sisto College’s bus back campaign in the Bayside area and has won a SSC stationery pack! Many people reported seeing one of our buses - and we thank you for your reports! - but Hannah secured the prize by sending in a photo. Well spotted, Hannah! 🎉

🇯🇵✈️ Welcome home, Japanese Cultural Tour 2026!

After an unforgettable adventure filled with incredible cultural experiences, delicious new foods, meaningful friendships, and lifelong memories, our students and staff have returned safely home. From bustling city streets and iconic landmarks to unique traditions and unforgettable moments, the tour provided countless opportunities to learn, grow, and step outside of comfort zones.

A special thank you to our dedicated staff, host communities, and everyone who helped make this remarkable journey possible. We look forward to hearing the stories, seeing the photos, and celebrating the many experiences our travellers will cherish for years to come. Welcome home! ❤️

From the wonder and excitement of Tokyo Disney to exploring the vibrant sights, sounds, and culture beyond the parks, our students have embraced every moment of the adventure. Whether discovering new places, trying new experiences, or creating lifelong friendships, each day has brought something special.

Of course, no trip would be complete without our much-loved Verity who has been enjoying the journey just as much as the students. From Disney magic to cultural discoveries, Verity has been there every step of the way, helping capture the fun and excitement of this unforgettable experience.

San Sisto College warmly invites mothers, grandmothers, aunties, and other relatives who are past pupils of the College to join their current San Sisto student for our annual Generations Celebration, as we honour the ties that connect generations of women within our College community. The morning will begin with an opening liturgy in the College Chapel, followed by refreshments in the Convent Garden. We would be delighted to have you join us for this meaningful celebration of faith, family and community. 🇯🇵✨ Our Japan Cultural Tour students are already making unforgettable memories! From tasting exciting new foods and embracing new cultural experiences to exploring the vibrant sights and traditions, every moment has been filled with adventure and discovery.

One very special highlight has been seeing Verity fitted for her own beautiful kimono, an experience she is sure to treasure forever. 👘❤️ We can't wait to share more moments from this incredible journey as our students continue to immerse themselves in the rich culture, history, and hospitality of Japan.
