📚 Day 1 of the holidays and already tripping over books?Perfect timing!

While the kids are "cleaning their rooms" (translation: shoving everything under the bed), why not sneak in and rescue those books they've outgrown? You know the ones — the picture books they haven't touched since they learned to read chapter books, the duplicate copies, the ones that multiply mysteriously every birthday and Christmas...

This holidays, give your bookshelves a well-earned holiday too! 🧹

Our MOSHC Student Leaders and the MSS 2026 Student Council are collecting book donations for our 2026 Book Swap, supporting Indigenous Literacy Day — with all proceeds going towards Indigenous literacy programs. 🙌

📥 Drop your pre-loved books to MOSHC or the Tuckshop by Friday 30th October 2026

🎡 MAC FAIR MADE PARLIAMENT! 🎡

🎪 Jo Taylor-Dodd, our amazing Fete Convenor, who pulled the whole day together
💰 The entire Fundraising Sub-Committee the engine room behind the scenes - including Sue Suchocki volunteer coordinator gathering over 300 volunteers
🎤 Gary Davey, our Deputy Principal, for an absolutely incredible line up of stage performances that had everyone talking
..and every volunteer, stallholder, sponsor and MacGregor State School and P&C staff member who poured their heart into making this year one to remember. You didn't just run a school fair — you made national headlines (well, the official parliamentary record, but still)! 🙌
