Students are only required to attend one of these sessions. Classes run parallel to day school terms and Student Free Days are also observed at our Ethnic School. Primary level (Years 1-6)

Students are required to enrol in Year 1 at Greek School at the same time as they commence Year 1 at school. In Years 1 to 6:
- Based on the Australian Curriculum for Languages
- Fully recognised and approved by Education Queensland
- Students are introduced to language and grammar through the study of themes
- All four skills (reading, writing, listening & speaking) are taught in each theme

Junior Secondary (Years 7-10)
- Theme driven course specifically written to prepare students for senior high school course
- Course is constantly revised to meet the current cohort of students
- Small composite classes are run on Tuesdays and Saturdays which allows a more focused and individualised approach to each students needs.
- Alternate class (accelerated) for high school students with limited or no formal study of Greek
- Online Class available for the Accelerated as well

Senior Secondary (Years 11-12)
- Fully accredited course by the Queensland Curriculum Assessment Authority
- Allows students Modern Greek included on their Queensland Certificate of Education
- Allows Modern Greek to be used for ATAR calculations
- By sitting the external exam, students have the benefit of receiving bonus rank points which will allow better opportunities to get into a university course.
- Note that all students are welcome to attend these classes, regardless if they sit the final exam or not. This exam is optional

Other Activities
Students are also exposed to Greek dancing and many aspects of Greek culture. The school celebrates the two Greek national days (25 March and 28 October). A Concert is also held at the end of the school year, showcasing the language skills that students have acquired throughout the year. Greek Dancing Classes
The Greek Community of St George is proud to provide the opportunity for our young Greek School students to participate in learning our traditional Greek dances. The Community believes that Greek Dancing is an important part of our culture and as such should be included in the Greek School program.
