Synergy Education are searching for First aid Trainers who believe passionately in CPR and First aid being taught in a practical, fun, and approachable environment.
About the role:
* Training HLTAID009 CPR through to HLTAID012 Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in predominately Education and Care Settings, in an enthusiastic and practical style to groups of 20-30 educators.
* Minimal theory and admin/paperwork due to our pre-course eLearning. Say goodbye to PowerPoint!
* Training delivery outside of usual business hours (e.g. 6:30pm-9:30pm week nights or day shifts between 8am and 5:30pm on weekends ).
* Paying a competitive casual rate and provides a uniform, training, equipment and teaching materials.
* Training delivered across various locations in Australia!! APPLY FROM ANY LOCATION!!
About you:
* You have an enthusiastic and approachable personality.
* You are passionate about providing the ultimate student experience
* You are passionate about First Aid and are determined to support those who you teach to ensure they are equipped with all life-saving skills
* You are capable of working autonomously and are resourceful under pressure.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Experience in delivering training and assessment - specifically HLTAID009 and HLTAID012
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 - MUST HAVE
* Current CPR and First Aid Certificate (or willing to update).
* Your own reliable vehicle and drivers license.
* Current National Police Check (or willing to undertake).
* Current Working with Children Check (or willing to undertake).
Highly Desirable:
* Experience in the Education industry
* Willingness to travel

These are the short and long term implications of diabetes on your body.

Type 2 diabetes is one of the major consequences of the modern lifestyle.

The combination of easy availability of high energy (kilojoule) foods at cheap prices, combined with more sedentary work and less physical activity, means most populations are developing more type 2 diabetes.

Genes also play a part with higher risk of type 2 diabetes in Chinese, South Asian, Indian, Pacific Islander and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations.

There are 3 main types of diabetes:

👉Type 1
👉Type 2
👉Gestational diabetes

All types of diabetes are complex and require daily care and management.

Diabetes does not discriminate - anyone can develop diabetes.

The number of National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) registrants shows:

🥴Around 13,200 children and young adults aged 0–19 were living with type 1 diabetes in 2021

🥴Almost 1.2 million (4.6%) Australians were living with type 2 diabetes and registered with the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) and Australasian Paediatric Endocrine Group (APEG) state-based registers in 2021.

🥴More than 1 in 6 (18% or 53,900) females aged 15–49 who gave birth in hospital in 2021–22 had been diagnosed with gestational diabetes during their pregnancy, according to the National Hospital Morbidity Database (NHMD).
