Photo Tip Sunday:
Effect of focus distance on bokeh.
Each shot is at 200mm f/1.8, but the distance to subject changes from far, to near. Note how the background blur becomes smoother as the distance to subject decreases.
You can achieve similar effects with just about any lens by making sure your subject is close to you and the background far away.

Here at Grasstree Photography we're always on the lookout for outstanding grasstrees while on our tours.
This amazing sample was found near Mt Kiangarow in the Bunya Mountains this last weekend.
