SHAMANIC JOURNEYING
This week Sifu sits down with “Cosmic Girl” Sheryl Gottschall and this time, we're not just talking about shamanic journeying...
We're talking from experience.
Sifu and Sheryl share some of their own extraordinary experiences as we explore what shamanic journeying actually is, where these traditions come from, and why journeys into the unseen have so often been associated with profound growth, transformation and initiation.
But there's a darker question lurking beneath it all...
Could trauma sometimes become part of a shamanic initiation — a brutal breaking open of the old self before something new emerges?
And then comes the REALLY strange part...
Why do some accounts of shamanic journeying contain such curious similarities to modern UFO and alleged abduction experiences?
Altered states.
Strange beings.
Journeys into other realms.
Are these experiences psychological? Spiritual? Something altogether different?
Two storytellers. Two personal journeys. One very strange question...
Where exactly do we go when we journey beyond ourselves?
Turn down the lights.
Open your mind.
And whatever you do...
don't fall asleep!

👁️ THE MOON-EYED PEOPLE
Deep in the Appalachian Mountains, old stories tell of a mysterious people known as the Moon-Eyed People—strange, pale-skinned beings said to be unusually small, with large eyes that could not tolerate bright sunlight.
Some Appalachian legends say they lived in caves and hidden places, emerging only beneath the moon.
So where did the story come from?
Is it a distorted memory of an ancient people?
An E.T. connecton perhaps?
Then we turn to an even stranger story...

Some survivors and children reportedly described seeing mysterious winged or glowing figures during the tornado—beings later known as the Butterfly People.

Beyond the famous Tully Saucer "Nest" lays a hidden trail of Australia’s most perplexing ground mysteries of strange saucer nests, scorched circles, flattened vegetation, and eerie nest-like formations scattered across the continent. I'll be speaking at the Australian UFO Festival on Friday 7th August, 2026 about some of these cases and how they are a significant component of UFO research, providing rare physical trace evidence that extends beyond eyewitness testimony alone.

If you can't make it to the Festival in person you can purchase tickets for the live stream at https://australianufofestival.com.au/

In this clip crime reporter for the Daily News, Jack Coulter, talks about his investigation of “spirit stones” that fell out of the sky for days and sometimes weeks in South Western Australia during the 1940s and 1950s. In 1957 Coulter was accompanied by Max Holten, photographer for the same paper, as they investigated the phenomenon. They spent three days in the area, with both observing for themselves stones falling, but couldn't give an explanation. The acting Commissioner of Police in Perth at the time, produced a report about the phenomenon which can be viewed on the Spirit Stones website at https://spiritstones.com.au/spiritstones.com.au/home.html
