Calling all Ugandans in Queensland! Please Come Support Play for Water!

This Sunday 16 August, and again next Sunday 23 August, Ripples of Change Uganda are running a fundraiser called Play for Water. This event is where we raise money to provide communities in Kisoro, Uganda with access to clean, reliable drinking water by building 20,000 litre rainwater tanks.

As Ugandans, many of you may remember your own struggles gaining fresh clean water - this is a chance to support those who are still on that journey.

Play for Water is a netball and soccer tournament. It’s at Peter Lightfoobyt Oval, Middle Park and we will be there all day.

There will be food trucks, a sausage sizzle, snacks and drinks to purchase and I’ve flown in some of your amazing bags to sell too. Honestly though, we just want to see our Ugandan community there 🙌

Bring the family, bring your friends and come show some Ugandan love and support! ❤️
