Posted โ€ข .ryan.murphy It was great to meet with some local community leaders yesterday morning to talk about what Council is doing well and what we can improve in the eastern suburbs. ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ—ฃ

The former Eastern Busway project came up numerous times as well as creating enterprising opportunities and promoting safety in our suburbs. ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™€๏ธ

Special thanks to Lachlan from Citipointe Christian College for advocating for and raising cardless payment methods for transport. ๐ŸšŒ โœ…

Mrs. Moore began her journey at Citipointe in 1991 as a teacher and Assistant Head of Secondary. In 2001 she then took over as the Head of Secondary. During this time she has faithfully served the staff, students and parents of the College, challenging us to aim higher and push further than we have before.
-
She is known for her elegant fashion, her gentle but firm leadership, her love for all things creative, her passion for poetry, her deep love of God's Word (especially Psalms 23!), her enthusiasm for student achievement and her heart to serve.
-
Under her leadership we have seen the growth of Citipointe's academic rigour, the expansion of our International Student Outreach Program, the development of the Focus Sports, the 7-Up program, the iPad initiative, Student Leadership, Humanities Research Symposium for Youth, growth of the band, dance, arts, NOVA and musical programs, Citipointe War Cry, the Honour Walk, College Sword and Bible, Formal Hall, transition to the National Curriculum, the transition to ATAR and so much Moore!
-
Thank you Mrs. Moore for 30 years of faithful service and prayer to the College.

AUSTRALIAN HONOURS ENSEMBLE PROGRAM
Jasmine B (Year 12) was accepted into the Australia Honors Ensemble Program Orchestra in 2021. This program, run by the Griffith Conservatorium of Music, auditions and selects high school musicians from across Australia. In 2021, Jasmine was one of only forty from across Australia to be accepted into the program.

Jasmine continues to be a valuable support to the Academy of the Arts music programs at Citipointe, performing with the Concert Band, Jazz Collective and Saxophone quartet.

Congratulations to Jasmine as she continues to strive forward on her musical journey.

โ›น๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ Our Open Boys and Open Girls basketball teams competed in the Senior CBSQ Basketball Tournament โ›น๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ
-
The Open Boys dominated their pool earning themselves a spot in the quarter finals ๐Ÿ€ The team fought hard against St Stephenโ€™s College but just narrowly missed out on progressing to the semi-finals. The team banded together winning their next two games ending their tournament in 5๏ธโƒฃth place.
-
The Open Girls showed grit and determination with many of their games coming down to a few points difference between us and the opposition ๐Ÿ‘Š The closet game being a 1๏ธโƒฃ-point difference at the buzzer.
