Connected Learning Communities 🔬🥦
To kick off Science Week, our students had a wonderful hands-on lesson learning about fruits and vegetables with one of our parent community members, a Science Specialist Teacher.

Across the classes, students discovered that fruits have seeds, explored which part of the plant we eat - roots, stems, leaves or flowers - and matched different foods to the plants they grow on. From broccoli flowers to sweet potato roots, there were lots of exciting discoveries along the way!

It was wonderful to see our school community come together, with our students learning from the expertise within our own parent community.

A fun, interactive lesson that had everyone engaged, curious and learning about where our food comes from! 🌱

Our Prep students have been exploring their place in the world through Geography, creating their very own little globes. Little hands, big discoveries! 🌎

Community Connections: A Little Taste of South Africa

Our Year 6 students were busy today helping our P&C make delicious South African milk tarts, ready for tomorrow evening’s MCF Movie Night!

Prep 2027: Our Journey Begins 💕
Today we welcomed some of our newest members of our school community.
Starting Prep is quite a milestone, and today was the beginning of getting to know our children and families, hearing their stories and helping them feel at home in our school.
We’re looking forward to the journey ahead with our Prep 2027 families. 💕

Prep Mini Commonwealth Games! 🏅

Inspired by the excitement of the Commonwealth Games currently taking place in Glasgow, our Prep students embraced the spirit of competition with their very own Prep Mini Commonwealth Games!

Across our Prep classes, our young athletes took part in a range of fun sporting events, including sprinting, hurdling, bean bag throwing and skipping. It was wonderful to see our Preps cheering each other on, demonstrating teamwork, enthusiasm and fantastic sportsmanship throughout the day.

A fantastic day of fun, friendly competition and celebrating the joy of sport!

Join us this afternoon for Prep Storytime. This is an incredible opportunity for our 2027 Prep families to spend some time in their future classrooms, listen to a story and complete a craft activity.
